As far back as I can remember, I’ve had a desire to help others, yet for quite some time, I was hard pressed in knowing how I could do that. Eventually, my desire led me to life coaching. I find that by supporting and encouraging others who are struggling with similar issues, I am able to help them see life through a different lens. My hope, is for potential clients to recognize my approachability and for those who I am privileged enough to coach, to experience my nurturing nature and appreciate my sincere ability to Listen. Guided by my faith, my goal is to help others live an authentic onward and upward life.

As a writer, my goal is to express my thoughts in a pointed, yet simple and down to earth way. I want to provide my readers with the opportunity of taking the truths that I have learned, and applying them in their own life.

In my personal life, I love being a Meni to my three grandchildren. I have a special place in my heart for animals—especially dogs and cats, having more of my own than I should. Home is my sanctuary and I’d rather be there than anywhere. I love working in my garden and my faith, family and friends are what I hold most dear.

I'm Trina Layne. It has always been my passion to help others, whether it's offering support in times of trouble, encouraging people toward positive change or just listening.

Home.

I went through counseling in my early 40's and during this time, came to the realization that I truly was loved beyond measure and indeed worthy.

From that time on, I began having the desire to help others who were struggling with the same problems that I had been struggling with- but I wasn't sure of how to go about it. Some years later, I was presented with the opportunity of life coaching.

Shortly after I received my certification, I ended up having to take a hiatus from coaching while we built our home. It was during this time that I wrote my book, "It's Not Just You, It Was Me Too". It is with sincere hope and prayer, by me sharing my own personal story, of how I made it to where I am today, it will be of benefit to others.

Whether you choose to work with me through the coaching process or you just read my book, my prayer is that you will be guided to live an authentic onward and upward life.

Having struggled with conflict in my own family dynamics for most of my life, I battled anxiety, bitterness and feelings of unworthiness. In turn, this affected how I dealt with almost everything...
